STUDENT AWARDS & RECOGNITION  

Student of the Month 

Each month students from each class will be recognized through the Student of the Month/ Purposeful People program. Student of the Month award recipients will be recognized at award assemblies each trimester. Parents are encouraged to attend awards assemblies in accordance with health regulations. 

Honor Roll 

Canyon Creek Honor Roll and High Honor Roll will be presented at the end of each grading trimester. The Honor Roll requirements are currently a 3.25 GPA to 3.65 GPA for Honor Roll and High Honor Roll is 3.65 GPA or better. The Principal's Honor Roll will be given for a 4.0 GPA. 

Students in third - sixth grade must earn their grades in the following subjects:  reading, language arts, math, social studies, science, and spelling.  Sixth grade students will include P.E. to the calculation of their GPA.  Students must not have any D’s or a citizenship grade lower than an S to qualify for any of the Honor Roll lists.  

The Honor Roll will be given during the regularly scheduled Awards Assemblies at the end of each trimester.
